What you were doing before coming to the IMBA?
Before coming to PSB, I was a tax consultant at KPMG Nigeria. I was motivated to change my career path to core finance and as such, I opted for the IMBA programme at PSB with an International Finance concentration.
Why did you choose PSB?
The choice of PSB was because the program was taught in English, I had a desire to experience a new culture and mostly because I had always wanted to visit Paris.
What has been your career path since graduating from the IMBA?
After completion of the program, I had a 6 month internship with Groupe Invivo situated at Chateau-Thierry and upon completing the internship, I returned to Nigeria where I joined PWC Nigeria for a short stint but have now landed my dream job as a Transactions Advisor with Ernst & Young Nigeria. Much of this is attributable to the level of exposure I obtained from PSB. The quality of the faculty, the case studies, class work etc. were truly world class.
Most importantly, meeting and interacting with people of all races in the tourist capital of the world, greatly enhanced my people skills and this has been extremely helpful in my professional career where I have dealing with clients from all across the globe.
Last year, I recommended PSB to a friend from Nigeria and she currently studies there. I am truly grateful to PSB for the experience, I will never forget it.
