We are very happy to welcome our short program students for the “Entrepreneurship & doing business in Europe” program – from 9th – 21st January 2017. The students are coming from different partner Universities in Australia and the United States and are really happy to make Paris their classroom this January.
After the first day of class with Mr Guillaume FINCK, the students totally enjoyed seeing Paris by night with a cruise down the river seine. This was just the first of many cultural visits that have been organized along with their classes here at PSB Paris School of Business. Another very interesting outing for the students is when they get to visit many different start-up companies and a business incubator. This gives them a great opportunity to see and learn outside the classroom. It also gives our short term program students the chance to speak to different entrepreneurs, which is a real added value to their program.
The students have already completed two days of this two week program and are really enjoying day three which is a workshop on Design thinking in partnership with our sister school “Strate School of Design”. They are also looking forward to participating in the Innovation Challenge (real projects given by real companies). Why this challenge is so interesting is that it is real projects given by a number of different companies. Students will be split into different teams with the aim of winning one of the top prizes. The different groups will have all day to create a pitch for one of the partner companies, responding to a particular innovative project or challenge.
These two weeks are very intense but filled with great activities and learning opportunities both in and outside the classroom. All these students if they successfully complete this short program will obtain 7.5 ECTS credits that can be used towards their degree at their home university.
Do you want to join our next Summer session and live the parisian experience? Applications have started!
