Learn more about the students who made their mark in Paris School of Business history, by organizing from scratch the first annual Intercultural Event at the Eiffel Tower.
Lindsey Johnston is 20 years old and is a third year marketing student that studied abroad for two semesters at PSB from British Columbia, Canada. She came to Paris because of her passion in travelling, an interest in learning new languages, and to gain a different perspective of the business world. Her other interest lie in the arts such as dancing for 16 years in genres such as ballet, tap and contemporary, as well as acting and singing for the past 7 years. Lindsey gained an invaluable experience studying at PSB and being involved with the PSB Intercultural Event at the Eiffel Tower. She would like to thank everyone that made her experience unforgettable.
Wonho Cho, is a 3rd year student, studying abroad while majoring in business administration. He comes from Sunkyunkwan University in South Korea. Helping others is one of his visions of life, he worked for the international student association of his university for 2 years, and undertook business projects, improving the lives of people in his community for 1 year. When he was watching people enjoying the PSB intercultural Event, he was proud of himself for providing them unforgettable memories.
Claudia Werba hails from Austria and holds a Master’s degree with a specialization in tourism and leisure industry studies from the University of Applied Management Sciences (IMC FH Krems) in Krems, Austria. In 2011 she will finish her second Master program in Corporate Governance and E-Business Management, with a specialization in strategic management, finance and corporate law. Since 2006 Claudia has been working as a project manager in the field of event planning and coordination as well as in the sector of marketing and public relations. Thanks to her academic year spent studying abroad at Paris School of Business as well as at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona she can rely on international working and studying experience. Claudia is also a guest lecturer at her home institution.
Ginvile comes from Vilnius, Lithuania will be graduating with her bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvia in 2011. Due to the international environment in the university as well as on the exchange semester in Paris Business School, she is used to working in multicultural teams. Since summer 2010 Ginvile is working within management consulting industry in Lithuania. This whole experience enabled her to get used to working under strict deadlines and built a strong personality always looking forward for new challenges.
Sean Caho comes from Lewisville, Texas; and is currently pursuing his B.B.A. in Business Fellows, Finance, and Economics at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. His semester abroad at Paris School of Business is set to be the first of four semesters abroad during his undergraduate education. Following the completion of his degree in 2012, Sean will pursue a career involving international finance operations.
Martina Uitz is from Austria, she has worked as a Senior Conference Manager and in various positions in the tourism and pharmaceutical industry for the past 10 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management and Leisure Industry from the IMC FH Krems – University of Applied Sciences Austria where she will receive a second Master’s degree in Corporate Governance in 2011. Next to her exchange studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the ESG Management School Paris, she has international working experience in intercultural teams in Austria, the USA and Martinique.
Miranda Stankiewicz came to Paris for her second year of University through a study abroad program from her home institution UNBC in Canada. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in International Business. She loves having a part in events and working with people as she has experience being an ambassador of her city and later for her province of BC. She jumped at the opportunity to be part of the inaugural PSB Intercultural Event. The evening of the event spent at the Eiffel Tower was one of her fondest memories from studying abroad.
