Introduction to Groupe Pomona
Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Aurélie SUNGUZA and I am an HR Development Officer within Groupe Pomona’s HR Department.
My role is structured around three main areas:
- Recruitment
- Career management
- HR projects

A few words about Groupe Pomona?
Groupe Pomona is a company committed to giving its very best.
As the French leader in the delivered distribution of food products to catering professionals, Groupe Pomona is not just one, but six specialized distribution networks (and therefore many internal opportunities): TerreAzur, PassionFroid, EpiSaveurs, Délice & Création, Saveurs d’Antoine and Relais d’Or.
With more than €5 billion in revenue, a presence in 80 regional branches across France and Spain, and over 12,000 passionate employees, Groupe Pomona has been dedicated to offering the best products to its clients for over 110 years. It is part of our DNA, and that is not about to change!
Partnership with Paris School of Business and opportunities for students
What motivated you to establish this partnership with Paris School of Business?
We built this partnership with Paris School of Business for four main reasons:
- The school’s reputation and academic excellence
- The dynamic exchanges with Corporate Relations Officers
- The actions organized throughout the year (forums, fairs, events…)
- The identification of young, dynamic students, in line with their school’s spirit, who are eager to give their best with us

What types of positions and missions will students be recruited for?
Students will be recruited in the following areas of expertise:
- Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance, Management & HR
In your opinion, why are professional experiences during studies a stepping stone for students?
Work-study programs and internships allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life situations. They provide an opportunity to gain new skills, acquire a more concrete understanding of the business world, and build a professional network. These experiences also ease entry into the job market by giving students the chance to highlight meaningful first professional experience.
Do you tend to prioritize hiring young graduates who have completed a work-study program?
Yes, work-study experience is a real asset for us. It enables young graduates to be operational more quickly and to better understand the challenges of a profession.
At Pomona, we highly value work-study backgrounds, as these young talents have developed strong adaptability skills and, above all, a better understanding of the company’s codes and dynamics. They are more agile, with sharper professional reflexes.
