For the past 25 years, Domino RH has established itself as a key player in the human resources sector. With a strong presence in France and internationally, the group offers temporary staffing and recruitment solutions across a wide range of professions. In this interview, Domino RH explains the motivations behind its partnership with Paris School of Business, the opportunities offered to students—particularly in work-study positions and permanent contracts—and shares its perspective on the professional integration of young graduates.

Company and partnership overview

Can you briefly present your company and line of business?

For the past 25 years, Domino RH Group has stood out in the HR solutions market. For us, HR stands for Human Richness. We see every individual as a valuable asset, and we support them throughout their professional journey with our clients.

With 900 permanent employees and more than 180 branches in France and abroad (Switzerland, Morocco, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Canada), our temporary staffing and recruitment activities are structured into four main divisions: the tertiary sector (“Staff”), the medical-social sector (“Care”), general staffing (“Missions”), and recruitment firms (HC Resources and Nextep HR). We also offer additional HR services, including wage portage, training, assessment, and interim management.

We are continuously recruiting for positions within our temporary staffing and recruitment agencies, as well as at our headquarters in support functions.

What motivated you to form a partnership with Paris School of Business?

As a long-established and well-respected school in Paris and part of the Galileo Global Education group, partnering with Paris School of Business seemed like a natural choice for us to build connections with its academic team and student body in the capital.

We also count among our team Antony Apthorp, an alumnus of the school (class of 2021), who joined Domino RH after completing his master’s degree and is now the Agency Director of our largest Paris branch. His journey is an inspiring example for students interested in building a career in recruitment and working closely with companies.

Professional opportunities

What types of roles and responsibilities will be offered to the students you recruit?

Assignments in our agencies revolve around recruitment, business development, and operational management. Responsibilities will vary depending on the position and career path within the company. For more advanced profiles, missions can include management, strategic development, and multi-site coordination. It’s also possible to grow into director-level roles or support functions at our headquarters.

In your opinion, why are student work experiences a stepping stone?

They provide a real opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting. It's essential for students to immerse themselves in the "codes" of the corporate world.

Beyond classroom learning, time spent in a company allows young professionals to develop valuable operational and organizational skills that are key to their future careers.

Career development and professional growth

Do you tend to prioritize hiring recent graduates who completed a work-study program?

Not necessarily. As mentioned, internships and student jobs can also be effective ways for young professionals to grow. There is no single path—recruitment is ultimately about the right match between the candidate, the recruiter, and the manager. Together, they build a professional project aligned with the candidate’s background and aspirations.

What advice would you give to succeed in your first professional experience and transition into working life?

Be proactive: share your ideas and ask for additional responsibilities. Communication is key, listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions to understand expectations and solve problems.

Maintain a positive attitude, your enthusiasm can make a real difference. Manage your time effectively by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Take every opportunity to develop new skills, and don’t hesitate to ask for training or feedback.

Engage with the team by participating in group activities and being open to constructive criticism. Professionalism is crucial: respect dress codes and company rules, be punctual and dependable. Take notes on important information and always look for ways to improve.
