The Paris School of Business accounting major (with CIMA accreditation) was a challenging degree which combined business studies with financial and management accounting principles.
Comprehensive and in-depth accounting studies were backed up and complemented by the classic business management courses.
The fast-track towards the CIMA qualification offers an incredible head-start towards professional qualification and was also a massive boost for job opportunities.
Employers were impressed with the extensive accounting knowledge I had obtained from the degree, while the skills learned from the more general business courses allowed me to frame this knowledge in a more top-level approach.
Thanks to these skills I have been able to take on both highly technical, financial accounting roles as well as more business-orientated, management accounting functions with an operational impact.
