MSC IN LUXURY & FASHION MANAGEMENT STUDENT 2017-18

The same week our courses started at PSB Paris School of Business, I had the golden opportunity to visit Givaudan, the world's leading flavor and fragrances company. We were exceptionally hosted by Martine Uzan, the Communications Manager, who introduced us to their different branches (perfumes, personal care products, and cleaning detergents). At the end of the seminar, we had a tour in Givaudan Perfumery School, and each one of us was generously offered a fine fragrance as a gift.
Afterwards, we went to the Osmothèque Conservatory, in Versailles. The Osmotheque is the World's largest Scent Archive, storing over 3,000 perfumes from the past to present. This is a leading international research institution tracing the History of Perfumery. We had the chance to meet a perfume maker from Chanel. As we enjoyed the scents of different popular fragrances, we were told the story behind each.
All in all, the business tour was very beneficial from a professional and personal level. Thanks to the network of Valérie Haie, the head of our MSc in Luxury & Fashion management program, we have scheduled many more luxurious business tours to experience throughout the year.
