Program details
The professional certification (RNCP qualification) prepared through the Master of Science in Hospitality Management at Paris School of Business is structured into competency blocks.
To validate the degree and obtain the associated RNCP qualification, students must validate each of the required competency blocks.
If a student does not validate all the blocks required to obtain the professional certification but validates all the competencies related to a specific block, that competency block will be permanently acquired.
The competency blocks to be validated are:
- Design a development strategy for a tourist hospitality establishment in order to optimize the organization’s financial profitability.
- Design and deploy the operational strategy of a tourist hospitality establishment by developing the corresponding business plan and commercial action plan.
- Manage the organization of a tourist hospitality establishment by defining its operational structure and ensuring the achievement of all development objectives.
- Optimize the financial management of one or more tourist hospitality establishments in order to increase profitability.
- Manage one or more multidisciplinary teams and support them in achieving their objectives.
- Design and manage the implementation of the company’s communication strategy in line with the establishment’s positioning strategy in order to enhance brand image.

Examinations are organized to validate the knowledge and skills required to obtain the MSc Hospitality Management degree.
The validation of competencies is based on the following assessment methods:
- Practical case studies: short projects assessed by industry professionals
- Written and oral assessments
- Consulting projects
- Professional simulations in the form of role-playing exercises
- Business Game: company case studies via a digital platform called CESIM-Hospitality
- Continuous assessment

However, partial certification equivalency is possible (please consult the RNCP qualification sheet).
