Thomas Porcher in the News

PSB Paris School of Business is proud to announce that PSB Paris School of Business professor Thomas Porcher (PhD in Economy) was featured in an article on the Danone website.

The article covers the issues of global warming and discusses several available solutions such as green bonds, which is the most popular solution today. These bonds are “debts” issued to finance projects that would have a positive impact on society and on the environment. Putting a price on carbon is another solution discussed in the article.  Companies would have to pay a tax on the amount of carbon their facilities reject each year.  Thomas Porcher explains this topic and describes what he thinks should be done.

Author of several books in French as well as specialist in renewable energy, he was invited to speak at the Cop 21 conference to debate on the Carbon taxation where he expressed his views on the climate change and the efforts that can be done to limit global warming.

PSB Paris School of Business students benefit from Thomas Porcher's expert knowledge thanks to his teaching of Raw Material Markets.
