On January 31st, 2011 the Paris School of Business Conference Series was launched with “Storytelling about the Brand Called You by Bernadette Martin.
All of those in attendance not only enjoyed the conference, but also learned about the concept of personal branding, especially important in this day and age.
Here is one Paris School of Business student, Catherine Allie’s account of the event:
“Creating a positive aura around ourselves which matches with our personal brand is exactly the key message which Bernadette Martin delivered to the Paris School of Business students, in the 'Storytelling about the Brand Called You' conference.
Being cosmopolitan with Irish, French and German descent, Ms. Martin has already collaborated with many organizations in the fields of storytelling, personal branding, online and offline networking, coaching and consulting.
Moreover, as we are surfing on the wave of increasing importance of the Internet and decreasing value of paper documents. Mrs. Martin also elaborately explained the importance and use of LinkedIn, the leading professional network online which has existed since May 2003 and is the future concerning professional contacts cross-borders.
The appreciation is mutual, as shown by Bernadette Martin’s recap of the conference:
“It is very rewarding for me knowing my presentation had such an impact as from their comments they are now increasingly aware of the importance of their online identity and specifically the LI profile. I appreciate the interest and enthusiasm from such bright students.”
