For the 7th consecutive year, the members of the ESG Management School student association GduCoeur go to the island of Nosy Komba, Madagascar. They have been participating in the global development project in the village of Antitourne since 2006.
The ESG Management School humanitarian association GduCoeur is organising a new mission on the island of Nosy Komba, in the north-west of Madagascar to continue their flagship action: contributing to the educational and nutritional development of the village of Antitourne.
The students arrived on 16th May and will be staying for one month during which they are going to train primary and secondary school teachers on the new applications installed on their XO computers which were distributed there in 2009. They are also going to organise Internet workshops to learn how to use this tool in an educational and fun way.
On an agricultural note, they’re going to work on developing terrace cultivation and complementary commercial activities (the production of marmalade…).
The funds collected throughout the year will be used to finance the village's community garden patch site.
The ESG Management School association G du Coeur is a humanitarian and charity association with some fifty members committed to the Nosy Komba project. The students are involved all year long in charity work in France and abroad.
