Study Abroad or Exchange?

PSB's Study Abroad and Exchange programs are a unique opportunity for you to study in France whilst earning credit towards your home degree.

It is available to students from universities that are part of the PSB exchange partner network. Exchange students must be nominated by their home universities.
Study full time (up to 30 ECTS/semester) for one or two semesters at PSB.
Available to eligible students who are enrolled at, and nominated by, an official PSB exchange partner.
Apply though your home universityís international office.
Pay your tuition fees to your home university while you study at PSB.

It is available to students from universities that are not part of PSBís exchange partner network. Study abroad students can apply directly to PSB.

Available for students from any recognized university or college with at least one year of studies after high school.

Entry Requirements
Applicants for the PSB Exchange Study Abroad program must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have completed at least one year of studies after high school
Justify language proficiency in either:
English - level B2 for students willing to study in English or French - level B2 for students willing to study in French

At the end of each semester, PSB International will issue academic transcripts (includes subjects studied, final grades and marks awarded).

Both French System grades and Letter grades (US) appear on the Transcript of Records.
A+ ; A ; A-; B+ ; B ; B-; C+ ; C (Passing Grade) = full credits
C- ; D+ ; D ; D- ; F+ ; F ;  = Echec = 0 credit
GPA (from letter grades US) : A = 4,00 ; B = 3,00 ; C = 2,00 ; D = 1,00 ; F = 0 ;
Dean's list: Very Good from 3,00 to 3,50 - Honor's list: Excellent from 3,51 to 4,00

Academic Transcripts

Academic Transcripts
At the end of each semester, PSB International will issue academic transcripts (includes subjects studied, final grades and marks awarded).

PSB Exchange Program student will receive their PSB academic transcripts through their home institution. 

PSB Study Abroad Program student will receive one original transcript sent to their home address. An official copy of the transcript can also be sent to their home institution for credit transfer processing.

Available Courses

Please find below list of courses available for PSB Exchange and Study Abroad Program.
Students can choose from several non-degree programs (called Tracks) taught in English or in French.
How to select courses
Select the appropriate level (Bachelor or Master)
Select a TRACK* (only one track**) from one of the schools either in English or French.
Complete the course list form which is a separate document, with your TRACK and a maximum of 30ECTS per semester.
Return your completed course selection to your international coordinator.
Please note that it is not possible to mix levels or tracks*

Important note
Please make sure you have completed any required pre-requisite courses, and that your final course choice has been approved by your Academic Advisor at your Home Institution.
EXCEPTIONS
**In case of mandatory courses your request for an exception will need to be accompanied by a written request/approval from your home university. Requests will be gathered and then processed upon your arrival when schedules are available. Some courses might overlap with the schedule of your chosen Track.
Faculty and the Administration reserve the right to open up a session in any required subject matter, regardless of the semester, provided sufficient enrolment; likewise Faculty and the Administration reserve the right to cancel any required subject matter, regardless of the semester, if the enrolment is inadequate.

How to apply + Tuition fees

Nomination and application process PSB Exchange Program
Step 1 - Acknowledgement
Upon being nominated by your home university, you will receive an email with a link to complete PSBís exchange Online Application. You will need to complete the application and upload the following documents (pdf file only):
One passport-size photos (3x4cm)
Latest official Academic Transcripts of Records obtained in your current year of study.
English or French proficiency (see requirements)
Passport or Identity Card
Confirmation of International Health Insurance for the length of your semester in Paris
Step 2 - Acceptance
Upon receipt of your application and required documents, PSB International will process the documentation. You will receive an e-mail when formally admitted to the university including a letter of acceptance, course choice form to be completed.
Step 3 - Course Selection
Information related to your course schedule will be provided about six weeks before the beginning of semester. You will need to provide with a learning agreement or course request list of what you intend to study at PSB so you can be enrolled into classes. You will still be able to change your course selection either before or after your arrival on campus.
Step 4 - Information
Admitted students will start receiving information regarding their stay at PSB via email and/or through extranet.

Tuition Fees
PSB Exchange Program
If you come to PSB as an exchange student, you are not required to pay tuition fees to PSB, but will still pay your regular fees at your home university.
PSB Study Abroad Program
The PSB Study Abroad Program tuition fee for 2015 is 4500€ per semester (up to 30 ECTS).

MAIN STEPS TO STUDY AT PSB FOR EXCHANGE AND STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS
Verify eligibility
Contact your Home University to confirm it has an exchange agreement with PSB and that you satisfy their selection criteria or contact PSB International Office if you want to apply for PSB Study Abroad Program.
Confirm course suitability
Check the website available courses are suitable for you and your home institution.
Apply to study at PSB

Select courses
Select your course and send your course selection form to your PSB International Coordinator. More details at ìavailable coursesî.
           
Apply for your visa
Citizen from EU/EEA
All you need is a valid passport or travel ID document.
Citizen from outside EU/EEA
You must apply for a visa within your country of origin as soon as receiving your letter of acceptance from PSB. Only students enrolled for more than a year will also need to apply for a residence permit.

Arrange health cover
Make sure to have a valid health and travel insurance before you leave your home country.
EU citizens should get the European Health Insurance Card from their national social security authority.
Book your trip to Paris
Once you in good standing with French authorities (visa, valid ID), you need book your transport to get into Paris. The city is well served from international destination by planes, trains, coaches, etcÖ
Book Accommodation
PSB doesnít offer on campus accommodation. Most students find their own accommodation either on off campus accommodation, bachelor unit or shared apartments. It can be hard to find accommodation while not being in Paris. We strongly recommend students to book short term accommodation upon arrival and look for a longer term accommodation onshore.
Attend Orientation
Take part in the compulsory Orientation Day and Discover PSB, meet the PSB International team and other students, get your semester schedule, fix any administrative issues.
