Introduction to Latin America & Business Perspectives
The Latin American continent is booming economically, except for Cuba, democracy is now well established in all of these countries, and investors from around the world are rushing to these emerging economies.
The continent is also rich in strategic natural resources: petrol, gas, iron, copper, diamonds, emeralds… It has also become a huge agricultural exporter:
wheat, soya, maize, coffee, beef and caddle..
Ignoring these markets would be a mistake, indeed some of these countries should play a key role in the world trade and diplomacy in the XXI century.
The objective of this conference is to give international students an overview of this region covering geopolitical perspectives, macro economic and history background in order to have a better understanding of this continent for future sales, marketing and financial managers.
A focus will be made on the “big three”: Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
The conference will be held by Paris School of Business professor Mario Miranda.
Mario Miranda Is French national with a strong international Sales & Marketing background developed among the world premium brands such as: Xerox, L’Oréal, Time Magazine, and CNN.
Mario Miranda is working as marketing & sales consultant and has a master in “International Trade” from Paris-Dauphine University and master in “Economics” from the Sorbonne Paris. Mario has an international profile and is fluent in four European languages.
