The International MBA students packed their bags and headed to Geneva this month for an action-packed weekend of conferences, company visits, and of course some tourism and fun!
First stop was the United Nations Office for a guided tour of the Palace of Nations. Students had the opportunity to visit the Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations room, decorated by famous artist Miquel Barcelo, and discover the working environment of this international organization.
The MBA students then went to the famous Cave de Genève to visit of the wine distillery. Here they discovered the production process and learned about the business and marketing of fine wines. The students even had an exclusive wine-tasting session to evaluate the style and quality of the different local Genevan wines.
The visit to Geneva would not have been complete without tasting Swiss chocolate at Philippe Pascoët’s chocolate atelier, and a visit to the world famous Philippe Patek museum to discover the luxury watch industry.
